Did you know that moving is one of the greatest stressors of modern life right up there with losing a loved one or a job. Moving, especially across several states, can cost thousands of dollars. You may need to spend several months saving; but, if your heart is set on moving to another state, the expense may be well worth it. ... Relocating will mean starting over – it is more than just a new house and job. I had lived in one state all my life, and when I got the news we were moving I was extremely excited yet terrified. I knew I would miss my family; I was up rotting my children, would I find friends? So many questions and fears boggled my mind. This was going to cost a fortune, was at the top of my list. But, we had no choice and we did it. I taught myself if you want to cry, go for it. It'll make you feel better and release some tension. There's nothing wrong with crying. LOL. The more you stress, the worse things will be. The more you stress and try to make things go perfectly, the more you will actually f^%k things up and have them go wrong. However, after now being here two years, I have learned to see the value in so much that I acquired from this move and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
1) A fresh Start Moving to another state is a chance to start over and change the things you don’t like in your life.
2) New Opportunities Moving to a new state will open a world of new opportunities for you – new job options.
3) Larger Social Circle: When you move to a new place, you will meet a lot of new people. 4) Personal Growth:
Getting out of your comfort zone and braving the unknown without the safety net of family and friends, will make you stronger, more resilient, and more self-reliant.
5) More Quality Time:
When you visit once a year, your time together becomes a special occasion.
